Jalapeño Hot Sauce Hummus

We often forget to take hummus out of its container, but once you do, the possibilities are endless. This next-level hummus dish, paired with a quick and flavorful jalapeño hot sauce, is sure to impress—whether it’s for guests, roommates, or simply treating yourself when you’re in the mood to romanticize life.

Ingredients

  • 1 container Little Sesame Smooth Classic Hummus
  • 2 tablespoons Little Sesame Tahini Sauce
  • Half a can of chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon agave
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • Sumac, to taste
  • Sesame seeds, to taste
  • Olive oil, to taste

Preparation

  1. Add the garlic, jalapeño, white wine vinegar, agave, and salt to a blender. Blend briefly, then add cilantro and blend again.
  2. Stir the Little Sesame Hummus and spread it on a plate with a signature swoop.
  3. Top with chickpeas, tahini sauce, and the freshly blended jalapeño hot sauce.
  4. Garnish with sumac, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of olive oil.
