Chickpeas are the centerpiece of Little Sesame. When we first opened up in our 500 sq ft basement space in 2016, we searched far and wide for the right chickpea; and we’ve used the same chickpea grown by the same farmer ever since. Back then we ordered 50 pound bags. Now we order 2 ton pallets. Over the course of the next week we’re going to do a deep dive on the mighty chickpea and how it’s good for you and good for the planet.
