THE JOB

Little Sesame is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our manufacturing facility. The Shift Supervisor will manage and facilitate production of consumer packaged goods (CPG) food products, with a focus on our signature hummus. 

WHO YOU ARE

• Positive mindset
• Embraces constant learning and improvement
• Ability to communicate basic directions and information in Spanish
• 1 year managerial experience in a food service environment
• Competent culinary and knife skills
• Safe Serve or HACCP certification
• Mechanical skills - a.k.a. good at taking things apart and putting them back together
• Stand for long periods of time and be able to reach, bend and stoop. 
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Supervise and facilitate production

• Oversee food preparation and packaging
• Manage production team to maximize efficiency  

Manage day-to-day operation of the food safety program

• Follow all FDA, DOH and company safety guidelines  
• Maintain all necessary documents and logs
• Supervise staff to maintain safety standards

Maintain a clean and orderly operation

• Maintain cleaning protocols 
• Assist in maintenance of industrial equipment

HOURS & COMPENSATION

This is a full time position and will be compensated $22 per hour. This position is eligible for 2 weeks of paid vacation. All employees at Little Sesame are eligible for up to 12-weeks of paid parental leave. We provide significant opportunities for growth and development within our company.
