Corporate - Brand Marketing Manager


Little Sesame is a fast growing Washington, DC-based CPG company built by a team of accomplished chefs who want to reimagine grocery store shelves and bring restaurant quality food into peoples homes. 

Little Sesame is looking for a creative go-getter to join us in growing our brand. The Brand Marketing Manager will help stake out our position in a crowded market, shape and communicate who we are to our audience and execute campaigns to grow and deepen our following. 

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned brand builder who is a creative at their core, deeply passionate about food, people and culture, thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, high-growth environment, and brings proven marketing expertise. 


We are looking for an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to help us build Little Sesame’s brand as we scale outside of our home market. You will help us refine what makes us special and why we matter, and translate that into fun, splashy, and engaging marketing campaigns. You will leverage channels we’ve already built and explore new ones to turn on as the landscape changes (hello TikTok!). 

At the end of the day, we need you to help us build a loyal following, who believe in what we’re building and want to be part of it.    

  • Lead go-to market and execute all marketing across all channels (website, retail, social, etc.)
  • Brand storyteller translating marketing briefs into campaigns and initiatives
  • Own all things organic social media and content, leading the strategy, ideation, and creation
  • Work with external partners (photographers, videographers, designers, etc.) to create additional content 
  • Curate, schedule and distribute content on all platforms
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns 
  • Project management; work with internal and external partners on marketing initiatives and event


  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (ideal experience in consumer marketing with retail presence)
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies
  • Track record using marketing tools; Instagram, TikTok, MailChimp, Attentive, Shopify etc 
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Creative spirit; experience art directing and managing creative projects 
  • Willingness to use data to evaluate decisions and processes 
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Fun-loving, adventurer, builder and team player  
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment


This is a full time position and will be compensated up to $90,000 annually, with benefits and 3 weeks of paid vacation. This is a remote position, but must be US based and able to travel to Washington, DC for two meetings annually plus attend trade shows and other events throughout the year. All employees at Little Sesame are eligible for up to 12-weeks of paid parental leave. We provide significant opportunities for growth and development within our company.
